A nail gun is a type of tool used to drive nails into wood or any other type of material. It is usually triggered by compressed air, electromagnetism, highly flammable gases such as butane or propane, or a small explosive charge of powder devices. This is done using shorter and lighter gauge nails, usually 14 to 16 gauge, 1 "to 2". It is used for cutting windows, doors, baseboards, chair rails, etc., as well as for making cabinets.
